Place of Origin:  Shigaraki of Shiga Prefecture, Japan.
Distinct finish known as Shigaraki-Yaki is found in one of six oldest origins of ceramic pot manufacturing areas of Japan.  The Shigaraki-Yaki pots are made by traditional craftsman of the area, producing colors & shapes of distinct handmade finish suitable for bonsai as well as succulent plant variety.
